Saturday, November 19th and 26th at 9am,  St. Maurice Service Project

St. Maurice, located at 2851 Stirling Road (between I-95 and US 441 on Stirling Road, next to the Dania Beach / Hollywood Fire Department Building) (Here is the google map of where the church is at: http://maps.google.com/maps?q=2851+Stirling+Road,+Fort+Lauderdale&ll=26.046412,-80.179167&spn=0.011318,0.031637&hl=en ), is in desperate need of volunteers to help set up the booths for the 26th Annual Country Fair.  Normally the fair would have already been held - November 3-6th, but Hurricane Wilma postponed the fair until December 1st-4th.  The country fair raises money and all proceeds go to the poor.  Meeting time is 9am.  This weekend they need help painting the booths and putting the roofs on the booths. Lunch is served for all who show up and help out.  For more information on St. Maurice Church, check out http://www.stmaurice.org/ and the Country Fair at http://www.stmaurice.org/modules.php?name=Info_Pages&pa=displaypage&id=7. If you have any questions, please contact William Robinson at (954)-242-1761.

Thursday, November 24th, Thanksgiving Potluck at Virginia's.

2:00pm

Date: Thursday, November 24

Time: 2pm - 4pm

RSVP:  Call 954-572-6976 (leave a voice mail), or email: matthewsvl@yahoo.com

Place: Virginia Matthew's Place

Description:  For those in the group that don't have family close by, or any friends to share Thanksgiving with.

Must have all RSVP's no later than Monday, November 21st, in order to get head count and what dish you are bringing. I will provide the turkey / ham, but would ask that anyone who wants to come, bring one of the following: a dessert, salad, vegetable, rolls, drinks (or if you need a suggestion of what to bring, I can tell them when they call so we don't get too much of one thing).

Directions: From St. Gregory's, go north on University Drive past Oakland Park Blvd. Stay in the left lane and pass the Hooters restaurant, Springtree Condos / golf club on your left. Right after that development, you will see a red and white sign that says Redbridge.  This is my development. As soon as you see it, make a left-hand u-turn and go to the development of Redbridge (NW 41st Court).  Go straight into the development and I am about the 7th or 8th house on the right hand side. House number: 7853.  I have about two extra spots in front of my house, but there is extra parking right next to the pool that you will pass on the left-hand side of the street.

See you there!!!
